Step 10 - Fill out application form

Before we go any further... CONGRATULATIONS! Receiving the Invitation to Apply (ITA) is the single most important achievement of the whole process. The one that really matters!

Receiving the ITA means that you were approved. It is pretty much IRCC saying "you got what it takes, go ahead and apply! Oh, don't worry, you are already approved, we just need to do some paperwork now".

So, again, take a minute to celebrate - a beer, a hug or at least a deep breath. You deserve it!

Alright, back to it... Next step is to fill the application form and submit the required documents. For now let's focus on the form.

You have only 60 days to do it. It starts counting the day that you received the invitation to apply (ITA).

First thing to do is sign in to your IRCC account. There should be a link saying something like "Apply for Permanent Residency". It will then ask you several questions, which you should answer on a fully truthful way.

The application form is actually divided into several "sub-forms", so you will need to open and fill in each one.

Application Form example

Besides the form, they system will provide you with a list of required documents, which you will need to gather and upload. This website has tasks for the commonly asked ones (police certificate, proof of funds, etc.), but use it as a reference only. The list on your application is the one you should follow strictly.

Hi Gabriel! Thanks a lot for the content! Is this the same page as the EE profile form ( the one we have to fill before ITA)? It looks the same
